OpenAI представила модель GPT-5.6 Sol Fast. По данным источника, она обеспечивает до 2,5x более быстрый вывод по сравнению с предыдущими версиями, при этом цена увеличилась в 2 раза. Отмечается, что модель сохраняет тот же уровень интеллекта.

    OpenAI has introduced significant changes to its AI model pricing, directly impacting Luna and Terra tiers. Luna’s price has been reduced by 80% to $0.20 or $1.20 per million tokens. Terra has seen a 20% decrease, now available at $2 or $12 per million tokens. Luna is now 25 times less expensive than Sol.

The Sonnet 5 release stands out as unusually costly and less effective compared to these updates. 

Meanwhile, the newly launched GPT-5.6 Sol Fast offers up to 2.5x faster inference, with only a 2x price increase, resulting in a 25% improvement in speed-to-cost efficiency and maintaining the same intelligence.

OpenAI’s approach targets both budget and premium markets, updating pricing and performance across the board.
