Meanwhile, the newly launched GPT-5.6 Sol Fast offers up to 2.5x faster inference, with only a 2x price increase, resulting in a 25% improvement in speed-to-cost efficiency and maintaining the same intelligence.

OpenAI’s approach targets both budget and premium markets, updating pricing and performance across the board.
